Russian drone attack on Kharkiv damages residential buildings, injures 3
Russian drone attacks on the city of Kharkiv overnight damaged residential buildings and injured at least three people, local authorities said on Saturday.
The attack, which occurred late Friday, struck the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district, according to the regional governor, who wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
Three people were injured, including a 59-year-old woman and two men aged 22 and 27. All three suffered injuries from shrapnel, according to the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration. Two of the injured were hospitalized.
The attack damaged the windows and facades of five residential buildings, as well as several cars.
Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, is located near the border with Russia and has been a frequent target of Russian drone and missile attacks since the start of the war.
