A spirit of togetherness and gratitude marked the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri celebration in Gunung Sitember Village, Gunung Sitember District, Dairi Regency.

During the festive occasion, a community aid package from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, consisting of one sacrificial cow weighing 920 kilograms, was delivered to the local residents on Wednesday (27/5/2026).

The handover took place at the Istiqomah Mosque in Gunung Sitember Village, reflecting the government’s attention in enlivening the Eid al-Adha celebration.

In a speech, it was stated that the Dairi Regency Government acts as an extension of the central government to distribute sacrificial aid to the community.

“On behalf of the Dairi Regency Government, we express our gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for the sacrificial cow donation given to the people of Gunung Sitember Village,” it was said.

It was explained that the sacrificial animal would later be distributed in the form of meat to ensure more even and targeted distribution, so that its benefits could be felt by those in need.

“Alhamdulillah, this is a direct mandate from the President for the people of Gunung Sitember Village. May this aid bring happiness and strengthen the spirit of togetherness in celebrating Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri,” it was said.

On this occasion, it was also mentioned that Gunung Sitember District would receive attention in several future development programs. However, the community was urged to remain patient, as all development processes require stages and mechanisms that must be followed.

According to statements, amid ongoing efficiency policies, the Dairi Regency Government continues to strive to bring support and aid from the central government to accelerate regional development.

“Please convey greetings from the Regent of Dairi to all the people of Gunung Sitember Village. We continue to work to bring development that benefits the community,” it was said.
