Today, Saturday, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque holds the fourth session of the thirty-third season of programs directed at women, under the title “The Virtue of Noble Morals in Blessed Times,” under the patronage of the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of Scientific Activities at the Azhar Mosque, and Dr. Hani Ouda, General Director of Al-Azhar Mosque.

New Women’s Forum at Al-Azhar Mosque Today

The fourth seminar of the thirty-third program is titled “Day of Arafah: Longings and Blessings,” and it is lectured by: Farida Mohamed Ali, Professor of Rhetoric and Criticism and Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies for Girls in Cairo, and Amani Mohamed Shaban, Lecturer in Principles of Jurisprudence at Al-Azhar University. The seminar is moderated by Sanaa El-Sayed, researcher at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque.

Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad stated that the programs directed at women and families at Al-Azhar Mosque discuss all issues concerning the family and society, foremost among them women in general, and Muslim and Arab women in particular, providing a treatment plan for all their problems. He confirmed that Saturday’s seminar is the third of the thirty-second season within the programs directed at women and families.

The supervisor of the Azhar Mosque explained that this season is a continuation of past seasons, and will feature a distinguished elite of specialists in language sciences, along with experts and specialists in the art of family relations and psychological and social health. He noted that lectures are held every Saturday and cover one axis of the main title of the program over an entire month, totaling 4 lectures.

He pointed out that the Azhar Mosque addresses all issues concerning citizens and the entire Islamic nation according to the directives of the Grand Imam, indicating that there are certain conditions to be observed before registering for the program, including that attendance requires prior registration before the date of the first lecture.

He explained that registration is limited to women only, and attendees must commit to attending all lectures of the program. He noted that at the end of the program, attendees will be granted a certificate of completion accredited by Al-Azhar Mosque.

He added that women’s and family issues receive significant attention from Al-Azhar Mosque, in accordance with the directives of the Grand Imam and the Deputy of Al-Azhar. He explained that in recent years, Al-Azhar has launched numerous scientific forums and awareness seminars discussing many issues concerning women, children, and the entire family.
