PT Inalum has outlined CSR programs in several sectors, including agriculture, tourism, education, land conservation, MSME empowerment, and community development.
In agriculture, PT Inalum has implemented the “Metode Tani Nusantara” program, providing training to farmers on organic farming techniques.
The training aims to help farmers utilize locally available materials to produce organic fertilizers and pesticides, reducing reliance on synthetic chemicals.
In education, PT Inalum has provided assistance to several schools, including donating furniture to Bungus Hamlet in Sionom Hudon VII Village, Parlilitan District.
For MSME empowerment, training has been conducted to produce handicrafts using water hyacinth materials.
In land conservation, PT Inalum has initiated programs to address critical land areas, particularly around Lake Toba, where Humbang Hasundutan Regency has over 20,000 hectares requiring attention.
PT Inalum also facilitates the formation of Community Fire Care Groups, training locals in early fire detection and prevention.
PT Inalum seeks support from the Humbang Hasundutan Regency Government to encourage community participation in environmental preservation and prioritize MSME products.
The Regent of Humbahas, Oloan P Nababan, welcomed PT Inalum’s visit and expressed hope for strengthened collaboration.
The Humbahas Regency Government is committed to environmental conservation, especially around the Lake Toba area, and has established a Task Force to minimize environmental damage.
