Mitsuharu Yasuda, the current vice chairman (65 years old) of the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry and chairman of Hokuyo Bank, has been informally selected as the next chairman. The decision was made by the “Chairman Candidate Selection Committee” on the 5th. Yasuda was recommended by the outgoing chairman, Keigo Iwata (72), as his successor. The official appointment will take place at the general assembly of members on November 4.
