Drafting the 2027 Regional Development Plan Focuses on Aligning Political Promises with Citizens’ Welfare.

Depok (20/04/2026) – An important point was emphasized during the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) for the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of Depok City. The speech underlined that the executive’s success in development represents the happiness of all citizens and the legislative body.

It was asserted that the control function carried out over the City Government is a mandate of the law and the oath of office aimed at maintaining the quality of development.

Appreciation for Public Involvement in Musrenbang

Appreciation was expressed for the holding of the Musrenbang RKPD as part of the long process of formulating the annual work plan. The participation of many parties will be directly proportional to the quality of the results achieved.

“We appreciate this Musrenbang as a long journey to formulate a joint work plan. The more parties involved, the better the results will be for this city,” it was stated.

Aggregation of Interests: Uniting 50 Voices for the People

As a political institution, the diversity of views among the 50 members and 7 factions was acknowledged. However, all dynamics and aggregation of political interests lead to one goal: the well-being of the residents of Depok City.

The aspirations brought by the legislature are concrete results from the recess period and joint work meetings with regional apparatus, which have then been agreed upon in a plenary session.

“Although there are many political interests there, rest assured that what we want is the good of all citizens. The factions have agreed to align the results of recess and regional apparatus meetings in one direction of development,” it was asserted.

Harmonization of Political Promises of the Executive and Legislature

One crucial point in the speech was the call for mutual support in realizing political promises, both from the Mayor and members. Campaign promises are viewed as debts to the community that must be paid through the realization of tangible work programs.

“As part of the regional government elements, we support the Mayor to realize his promises, and we also support members to realize their promises. In the end, all promises are for the benefit of the community,” it was concluded.

This statement reaffirms the commitment to maintaining political stability and inter-institutional collaboration to ensure the preparation of the 2027 RKPD aligns with the fundamental needs of the Depok community in the future.
