Saturday’s Weather to Be Mixed
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather across the country on April 25, 2026, will be mixed. On one hand, parts of northwest and central India will continue to experience severe heat and heatwaves. On the other hand, several states are likely to see storms, strong winds, and rain, which will bring relief to people.
Meteorologists have predicted severe heat and heatwaves in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and the Vidarbha region this Saturday. People in these areas are advised not to go out during the afternoon. IMD has issued a heatwave alert for these regions.
Delhi-NCR Residents to Bear the Heat
Regarding Delhi-NCR, the maximum temperature on April 25th is likely to be between 42–44 degrees Celsius. Heatwaves may occur in some places, making conditions severe. During this time, partly cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle are also possible in some areas. If this happens, people may get slight relief from the heat.
In Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the weather on April 25th is expected to be relatively changeable. Several districts are likely to experience rain with thunder and strong winds. According to IMD, wind speeds during the storms in these areas could reach 50 to 70 kilometers per hour.
Heavy Rains in Hill States
Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will emerge as states with excellent weather this Saturday. The weather will remain active in both hill states, leading to chances of light to moderate rain in many places. Meanwhile, some locations may experience thundershowers. This will cause a drop in temperature, keeping the weather cool.
Meteorologists predict that eastern states like Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha are also likely to see rain with thunder. In Northeast India, due to an already active weather system, heavy rain is expected to continue in many places.
