109,807 fans entered the digital waiting portal on the “Ahlan” platform, an enthusiastic scene reflecting the scale of the fan race for seats at the upcoming Saturday’s AFC Champions League final against their Japanese counterpart, amid expectations of a large turnout to support the team.
This massive turnout came after the Al-Ahli club company announced continued coordination with the Asian Football Confederation and the local organizing committee for the 2027 Asian Cup, to implement recent directives that limited match ticket sales to the “Ahlan” application and prohibited trading them outside official channels.
The anticipated final between Al-Ahli and Japan’s Machida Zelvia will be held at the “Al-Inmaa” Stadium, in a continental match expected to draw a large crowd to support the team.
