Vadodara: In view of the general elections of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation scheduled for April 26, 2026, the district election machinery made special arrangements so that employees directly or indirectly involved in the election process could exercise their voting rights conveniently. For employees who had previously applied to vote by post and who had received ballot papers at their home addresses as per the prescribed procedure, special facilitation centers were set up today at the Pratapnagar Police Headquarters.

Voting facilities were available at these facilitation centers from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. As part of administrative ease and orderly management, separate arrangements were made at the Police Training Center, Pratapnagar Police Headquarters for employees of ward numbers 1 to 12, and at the Anganwadi Center, Pratapnagar Police Headquarters for employees of ward numbers 13 to 19.

Employees engaged in important duties such as election work made maximum use of this facility and enthusiastically exercised their voting rights. Through this arrangement established by the district election machinery, employees actively participated in the festival of democracy alongside their official duties.
