The list of inspiring female figures released in the April 2026 edition of Infobank Magazine serves as an appreciation of women’s roles in various sectors, from finance, state-owned enterprises, to the public sector.
As part of this appreciation, Infobank Media Group awarded these inspiring women at the Infobank 500 Most Outstanding Women 2026 Appreciation Night, themed “Women, Art & Society: The Creative Power of Indonesian Women,” held at Wisma Batari, Surakarta on April 17.
At the event, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk won several awards given to its management team in recognition of female leadership in the national banking industry.
BRI’s Deputy President Director Viviana Dyah Ayu was awarded The Future Women Leader 2026, while BRI’s Director of Treasury & International Banking Farida Thamrin and BRI’s Director of Risk Management Ety Yuniarti each received The Most Outstanding Women in Banking Industry award.
This award reflects the quality of female leadership within BRI, which continues to be strengthened through an inclusive and performance-oriented work culture, while also affirming the company’s commitment to promoting women’s roles as economic drivers, especially in the MSME sector, which is the foundation of the people’s economy.
BRI’s Director of Risk Management Ety Yuniarti stated that the award reflects BRI’s commitment to strengthening female leadership while encouraging women’s roles as drivers of an inclusive and sustainable economy.
“This award reflects how female leadership at BRI continues to develop and contribute to strengthening the organization. BRI provides equal space for women to grow and take on strategic roles, both within the organization and in empowering the MSME sector. Through these roles, women are expected to drive more inclusive, productive, and sustainable business growth,” said Ety.
Currently, BRI has 36,000 female employees, equivalent to 43% of its total 86,000 employees. This composition makes BRI an inclusive and conducive work environment for women to develop and reach their full potential.
Not only in numbers, but women’s roles at BRI are also increasingly visible in leadership positions. To date, 25.63% of BRI’s female employees have taken on managerial positions, ranging from junior managers to top-level management.
The awards received by BRI’s management team are a real representation of the modern Kartini spirit, daring to take on strategic roles. With strong competence, these female leaders have proven capable of making a broad impact, not only for the organization but also for the advancement of a more inclusive civilization.

The assessment for this list was conducted comprehensively. Indicators considered include company performance, position, experience, and contribution to the industry. In addition, aspects of public reputation and recognition were also important considerations. All of these were combined with editorial judgment from the editorial board.
