Delivering the commemorative speech, comrade Nguyen Duy Lam, Central Committee member and Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the glorious revolutionary life of comrade General Secretary Ha Huy Tap has left the Party many valuable lessons. These include lessons on the spirit of continuous learning, regularly enhancing leadership capacity, sharp theoretical thinking, steadfastly defending truth and righteousness, caring for building and consolidating the organization, maintaining unity and solidarity, and upholding the spirit of dedication and sacrifice for the Party’s revolutionary cause, for the people’s happiness, and for the nation’s survival…

Learning from and following the shining moral example, and worthily continuing the glorious revolutionary cause of comrade Ha Huy Tap, the Party Committee and people of Ha Tinh pledge to continue promoting the tradition of unity, the spirit of self-reliance and self-strength, and to resolutely implement the Party’s 14th Congress and the 20th Provincial Party Congress Resolution. They are determined to achieve a growth target of over 10% linked to establishing a new growth model based on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; to strongly promote the cultural values and people of Ha Tinh; to continuously improve the material and spiritual life of the people, leading the province to fast and sustainable development and contributing to the common development of the country.

Speaking at the commemoration, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that the revolutionary life of comrade Ha Huy Tap is a noble symbol of a young intellectual rich in patriotism, who early awakened to the proletarian ideal and the path to national salvation of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc. He embodied sharp theoretical thinking, resilient mettle, the integrity of a true communist, and a lifelong dedication to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. The commemoration is an occasion for the entire Party, people, and army to remember and deeply thank his great contributions to the revolutionary cause, while also arousing pride, will, aspiration to rise, and responsibility towards the Fatherland.

The General Secretary and President emphasized that the country has entered a new development phase. The Party is conducting a review of 100 years of leading the Vietnamese revolution and 40 years of implementing the Platform for National Construction during the transitional period to socialism, in order to build a Platform for national development and defense in the new era. This is a major theoretical task of strategic significance for the Party’s ideological and theoretical work, requiring elevated thinking, a broader vision, firm political mettle, and the promotion of wisdom and practical summation ability, while also arousing the aspiration for development to shape the country’s future. This further highlights the enduring value and ideological stature that comrade Ha Huy Tap has left for the Party today.

Vietnam Fatherland Front

Ha Tinh province

Ha Tinh province, located in north-central Vietnam, is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage, including the birthplace of famous Vietnamese poet Nguyen Du. The area has a long history shaped by its role in resistance wars and its position along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Today, it features scenic landscapes like Thien Cam Beach and historic sites such as the ancient Dong Loc T-junction.

Ha Tinh

Ha Tinh is a province in north-central Vietnam known for its rich history and cultural heritage. Historically, it was part of the ancient kingdom of Champa and later became a key region under the Nguyễn dynasty, serving as the birthplace of notable figures like poet Nguyễn Du. Today, it features scenic landscapes such as Vũ Quang National Park and historic sites like the Hồ Dynasty Citadel, reflecting its blend of natural beauty and historical significance.

Vietnamese revolution
