The “Shanghai China” portal website is the government’s “online window” for publishing authoritative information, interpreting policy documents, and providing government services. It also serves as an important bridge for communication and interaction between the government and the public. Not only does it record the city’s development, but it also connects business operations, people’s lives, and government governance. To create a more user-friendly and effective portal website that more accurately responds to the needs and expectations of businesses and the public, we are planning a comprehensive redesign and optimization of the “Shanghai China” portal website.

We are now publicly soliciting opinions and suggestions for the redesign and optimization of the “Shanghai China” portal website. Every piece of feedback will be an important reference for our work, and we will carefully study and incorporate it together with relevant departments. Thank you for your attention and support!

Submission Period: From now until April 20, 2026

Shanghai China

Shanghai is a major global financial hub and one of China’s most populous cities, located on the eastern coast at the mouth of the Yangtze River. Its history as a trading port dates back to the 19th century, when it was opened to foreign trade after the First Opium War, leading to the establishment of international concessions that shaped its unique blend of Eastern and Western architecture and culture. Today, Shanghai is known for its modern skyline, historic Bund waterfront, and vibrant cultural scene.
