Bandung – After two months of renovation, the Babakan Siliwangi Urban Forest (Baksil) in Bandung has reopened. Residents have begun to fill the area during the 2025 Christmas holiday.

Babakan Siliwangi Urban Forest

Babakan Siliwangi Urban Forest is a green public space located in the heart of Bandung, Indonesia, originally developed on land that was part of a colonial-era water reservoir and later a sports complex. Transformed into an urban forest in the early 2000s, it now serves as a popular recreational area for locals and tourists, offering walking paths, a lake, and a variety of flora while promoting environmental conservation in the city.
