Bandung –
Persib Bandung is currently undergoing a training camp (TC) in Thailand. The team is scheduled to play friendly matches against several clubs, including Ratchaburi FC.
Since arriving in Thailand on July 17, 2025, Persib coach Bojan Hodak has implemented several rules for his squad. While players like Marc Klok and others are allowed to explore the city, they must not neglect their training schedule.
“I can allow it, but the important thing is they shouldn’t stay out too long. They must not exhaust themselves before training, and they already know this,” he said on Sunday (July 20, 2025).
A series of training sessions have been designed to strengthen team cohesion both on and off the field. Bojan does not overly restrict his players’ activities, as long as they prioritize practice.
“After lunch, no one is allowed to go out again. In the morning, they can go for coffee, or if we train in the morning, they can go in the afternoon. But they must still attend therapy sessions and training—that’s the most important thing,” he added.
Bojan emphasized that the Persib squad is currently focused on their work. The team is rebuilding its strength for the upcoming season after signing 12 new players, including Iraqi national team defender Frans Putros.
“Work comes first. Enjoying free time is important, and we’ll have time for that, but the priority is work,” he stated.
“Additionally, as I mentioned, we have 12 new players. They need to build chemistry. Some are rooming together for the first time, others are starting to have lunch or coffee together—that’s how they begin to bond,” he concluded.
