Subject:- Declaration of the unrecorded habitation “Tavaraghatta Hosa Badavane” under Section 38A of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962).

In accordance with Section 38A of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962), and in supersession of the preliminary notification issued vide Notification No. RD 169 MNU 2016, the Government hereby declares the following areas as an unrecorded habitation, namely:-

Name of the unrecorded habitation and name of original village under which it falls: “Tavaraghatta Hosa Badavane” of Tavaraghatta Village.

Survey No.: 303

Total extent of land on which unrecorded habitation is located: 0 Acres 05 Guntas (as per Notification No. RD 515 MNU 2025 (E)).

Boundaries: North: Survey No. 02, South: Survey No. 305, East: Government land, West: Survey No. 68681.88.

This declaration is published for general information as required under sub-rule (3) of rule 9-B of the Karnataka Land Reforms Rules, 1966.

Further, any person aggrieved by this declaration may, within 60 days from the date of publication of this notification, prefer an appeal to the prescribed authority, i.e., the Divisional Commissioner, under Section 38A(2) of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962).

[see sub-rule (3) of rule 9-B] Whereas, the Assistant Commissioner of Shivamogga sub division after conducting spot inspection has submitted a proposal for declaration of unrecorded habitation in respect of habitation situated at Shivamogga District, Bhadravathi Taluk, Kasaba Hobli, Tavaraghatta village. I the Deputy Commissioner of Shivamogga District, having examined the said proposal of the Assistant Commissioner and having satisfied that the same meets the criterion prescribed to declare the said “Tavaraghatta Hosa Badavane”unrecorded habitation as such, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 38A of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961(Karnataka Act 10 of 1962), hereby declare the following areas as an unrecorded habitation, namely:-
