Passengers informed about app download and registration to promote digital ticketing

A special campaign was recently conducted in the Kathana-Vasad rail section by the Commercial Department of the Vadodara Division of Western Railway, with the objective of promoting the RailOne app and digital awareness. During the campaign, special emphasis was placed on connecting passengers with digital ticketing facilities.

Under this campaign, organized under the guidance of the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, staff directly interacted with passengers traveling from Kathana to Vasad station. During this time, passengers were given detailed information about downloading the RailOne app, the registration process, and its usage.

It also emerged during the campaign that most passengers in this section are Monthly Season Ticket (MST) holders and many passengers face practical challenges such as having keypad mobile phones. Despite this, staff made efforts and successfully facilitated the app download and registration for 7 passengers.

Officials of the Vadodara Division stated that such awareness campaigns will continue to be run periodically to promote digital ticketing and connect passengers with modern facilities, so that more and more passengers can benefit from online services.
