It was stated that officials directly inspected the readiness of immigration services before operations commence next Friday.
“Today we served 5 people first. We observed the SOP flow first. And we have already checked everything from the queue number system, which can also be done online,” it was said on Friday.
It was added that people who wish to process passports can register online. This way, when they come to the office, they can be processed directly.
“Calling the queue number, interview, photo capture, document processing, and so on up to the payment have all run smoothly,” it was said.
Furthermore, it was stated that based on the inspection results, several things still need improvement. This is being done so that immigration services can run optimally next week.
“So it appears there are several things that need to be fixed, firstly regarding the bank counter so it can accept payments,” it was said.
“Secondly, according to colleagues from immigration, there are many marriage book clarifications needed, so perhaps colleagues from the Ministry of Religious Affairs need to be present,” it continued.
It was further stated that the West Bandung MPP is planned to operate two days a week, namely Mondays and Fridays.
“Because we also have personnel limitations, so for those two weeks, service will only be two days, for 25 people per day (Monday and Friday),” it was said.
It was emphasized that the immigration services opened at the Public Service Mall (MPP) of West Bandung Regency are for new passports and replacements. The service time required is 5 to 10 minutes per person, depending on document completeness.
“And for now, today’s applications will be processed for pickup next week because the printing is still done on Jalan Suci or Miko Mall. Regarding the cost, there is the Non-Tax State Revenue fee: 5-year passport is IDR 650 thousand and 10-year passport is IDR 950 thousand,” it was concluded.
