On Sunday, the committee tasked with following up on strategic projects and government initiatives held its annual meeting, which this year includes nearly 100 strategic projects and initiatives across various sectors.

The meeting discussed the readiness of the projects and initiatives included in the 2026 plan, ensuring their preparedness for official launch and opening to the public, in addition to approving final implementation timelines and monitoring performance indicators to ensure the achievement of targeted results and the delivery of high-quality services.

The meeting emphasized enhancing coordination among implementing bodies, maximizing the utilization of available resources, directing relevant authorities to fully adhere to approved implementation plans, accelerating the pace of progress, and closely monitoring implementation stages to ensure continuous advancement across various projects.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Administrative Centers Development and Enhancement Authority, the Transportation Projects Implementation Authority, the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Authority, the Development Fund, the management of the Zomorod Company, Al-Andalus Tourism Investment Company, the General Electricity Company, the Great Man-Made River Project Implementation and Management Authority, the Roads and Bridges Authority, the National Well Drilling Authority, the Ministry of Health, the Government Communications Center, the Training and Development Center at the Ministry of Education, the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank, along with a number of other relevant government bodies.
