In 2014, Xu Ling participated in a public welfare event in Canada and has been involved in charitable work ever since. To serve the local community and showcase the philanthropic strength of the Chinese community, Xu Ling and friends established the Lehu Lions Club and the Lehu Leo Club, which focuses on youth. For many years, the Lehu Lions Club has supported a children’s hospice, raising funds and bringing warmth to the children. The young members of the Lehu Leo Club also actively participate in various charitable activities, passing on the spirit of public service. Xu Ling expressed that the mentorship in public welfare is like a beam of light that can shine into people’s hearts.
