Residents of the region received emergency alerts about a possible threat from falling unmanned aerial vehicles on Thursday around 23:43.

When receiving such information, it is important to remain calm and be especially vigilant. Avoid open street areas and stay in a shelter until the drone threat alert is canceled.

“If you are inside a building—move away from windows and take cover in a room without glass (a hallway, storage room). If you are outside—take shelter in the nearest building, parking garage, or underground passage. If you are in a vehicle—exit and take cover in the nearest building, protected area, or terrain folds,” states the emergency services alert.

If drones or any suspicious objects appear, it is important to report them by calling 112. Approaching the wreckage of downed drones is strictly prohibited.
