Hyderabad, A traffic awareness program was organized under the guidance of 4/1 Company, 1 Telangana Battalion NCC, Pragati College, and Hyderabad Traffic Police. According to the press release, the event featured DCP (Traffic-2) as the chief guest. They encouraged college students to follow traffic rules, stating that today’s youth are increasingly forgetting their responsibilities.

Youth driving at high speeds without concern for others, using mobile phones while driving, carrying three riders, and driving without helmets are dangerous practices. Emphasizing the need to avoid these mistakes, they stressed the importance of adhering to traffic rules. Traffic Admin ACP and East Zone ACP highlighted the dangers of substance abuse, urging youth to avoid such habits. They also mentioned road safety regulations.

Inspector from the Traffic Training Institute, Begumpet, raised awareness among students about traffic rules through a PowerPoint presentation. They showed videos of some accidents to highlight the consequences of irresponsible behavior.

The event was attended by the Sultan Bazar Traffic Police Station Inspector and other police department members. The PG College Director and the College Principal welcomed the guests. The program was conducted by the college’s NCC Officer. Participants included the Commerce Department Head, faculty members, NCC cadets, and college students.
