
Ten civilians were killed and twelve others injured on Friday afternoon in a Pakistani airstrike on a border province in western Afghanistan, according to an official at the regional Paktika hospital.
A source who requested anonymity stated, “10 civilians were killed and 12 others injured in an airstrike on the Argun area,” clarifying that two children were among the dead.
Pakistan-Afghanistan Conflict
Earlier, seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and thirteen others injured in a suicide attack targeting an army camp in the tribal district of Waziristan, located in northwestern Pakistan.
Security sources explained that a suicide bomber crashed an explosives-laden vehicle into the wall of an army camp in Waziristan, damaging the camp and causing casualties.
