U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday that he will host the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House this Friday for a historic peace summit aimed at ending a decades-long conflict between the two countries.
Trump stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will join him at the White House for an official peace agreement signing ceremony.

He noted that the United States will sign bilateral agreements with both countries in pursuit of shared economic opportunities, which could open new prospects in the South Caucasus region.
