Saturday, June 28, 2025 — In commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day on July 1, 2025, at Monas, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) will showcase 25 advanced robots, including humanoid and K9 robots. The Inspector General of Polri, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, stated that these robots are prepared as strategic partners to support high-risk operations, not to replace personnel but to enhance safety and operational precision.

The robots were developed in collaboration with PT SARI Teknologi, a local startup. The K9 robots are equipped with AI for motion analysis and real-time data transmission, while the humanoid robots are still undergoing testing. This innovation supports Polri’s Precision Program and aligns with the President’s Asta Cita initiative for human resource and technological advancement.

The robots will be displayed alongside tactical vehicle parades, aerial shows, free health check-ups, and a technology exhibition. The public will also be able to witness live demonstrations of the K9 and humanoid robots’ capabilities.

This move reflects Polri’s commitment to leveraging technology for safer, more efficient, and precise public services.
