In Sochi, issues of ensuring the security of transport infrastructure facilities were discussed. The city’s anti-terrorism commission meeting was chaired by the head of Sochi. It was attended by heads of the Sochi police department, FSB, FSO, EMERCOM, Rosgvardiya, the linear department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for transport, the prosecutor’s office, and other agencies.

As part of the agenda, meeting participants discussed the issue of applying protective measures for civilian vessels in the Black Sea waters within Sochi’s boundaries, the seaports in Sochi and the federal territory “Sirius,” and Sochi International Airport upon receiving information about a UAV attack.

The Black Sea Fleet has deployed operational groups to ensure the security of seaports in Sochi and the federal territory “Sirius.” Drills are being conducted, actions to neutralize drones and unmanned boats are being worked out, and measures for moving civilian vessels to seaports or closer to the shoreline to avoid debris from UAVs have been practiced.

All city services are operating in a heightened state of readiness. Sochi’s Unified Duty Dispatch Service continues to work in an enhanced mode to ensure the calm of the city’s residents and for timely response to any changes in the situation. Over 200 protective structures at social facilities and enterprises for work shifts and more than 1,200 basements of apartment buildings, which can be used as shelters, are operational.

The Unified Duty Dispatch Service of Sochi informs the population via SMS. Operational information can also be obtained through the official EMERCOM of Russia app.

For public alerting, 456 siren-speech installations are operational in all districts of Sochi and Sirius. Alerts are also sent through the official accounts of the Sochi administration.
