KrasnodarA criminal case has been initiated in Anapa in connection with an incident at one of the hotel complexes.

This happened on the afternoon of August 27. Police received a report that hotel guests, including children, had fallen ill due to possible chlorine vapor poisoning. A pre-investigation check was organized, based on the results of which a criminal case was initiated for the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.

A number of hotel guests, including children, felt their health deteriorate after swimming in the hotel’s pool. Six children were hospitalized with signs of chlorine vapor poisoning. According to preliminary information, the lives and health of the children are currently not in danger.

Investigators are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. The scene has been inspected, witnesses are being questioned, and the necessary documentation is being requested. Examinations are being appointed to determine the severity of the harm caused.

The progress of the criminal investigation has been placed under the control of the apparatus of the investigative department.
