Bang Iman Yuniawan Gathers Input from Sawangan Lama Residents During Third Session Recess in 2025
Depok – A member of the Depok City Legislative Council (DPRD) from the Democratic Faction held the Third Session Period Recess Activities for 2025 in Poncol Village, on Jalan Abdul Wahab, RT 01 RW 03, Sawangan Lama Village, Sawangan District, Depok City, on Sunday afternoon.
Approximately 160 residents attended the event. Several community leaders and local officials were also present.
On this occasion, the council member stated that this recess activity is part of a series of visits to several locations in his electoral district (Electoral District VI: Cipayung, Sawangan, and Bojongsari). He mentioned that every location he visits is always welcomed enthusiastically by residents, with participant attendance reaching 160 to 200 people.
The Head of RW 03 expressed being moved by the council member’s presence in his area. “Frankly, in our RW, the votes for him during the election were not many. But he still came, greeted us, and is even ready to follow up on residents’ aspirations. This is real proof, not just promises,” he said.
During the dialogue, residents conveyed various urgent needs in their neighborhood. Several of these include:
Improvement and repair of neighborhood roads.
Construction of drainage and retaining walls.
Support in the education sector, including attention for contract teachers.
Realization of the Uninhabitable House Program (RTLH), which has not yet been realized despite being submitted repeatedly.
The RW Head added that residents hope the attention and support from the council member will continue. “May he always be granted health and blessings. We hope he continues to be present for the residents of Sawangan Lama,” he said hopefully.
Responding to the various inputs, the council member affirmed that all aspirations received would be advocated for through official mechanisms at the DPRD. “Every proposal from residents will be guided through the DPRD’s Main Thoughts (Pokir) so it can be included in the regional development plan. The goal is clear: development must align with community needs,” he emphasized.
The council member also stressed the importance of recess activities as a forum for two-way communication between the people’s representatives and the community. Through recess, he can directly understand field conditions and ensure that every government policy genuinely addresses residents’ needs.
In addition to gathering aspirations, on this occasion, the council member also socialized several Depok City Government programs under its leadership. These programs cover social, infrastructure, and community empowerment sectors, which are expected to improve resident welfare, particularly in Electoral District VI.
With his warm and open communication style, the recess in Sawangan Lama not only served as a forum for gathering aspirations but also strengthened the closeness between the people and their parliamentary representative.

For a detailed history, it would be necessary to identify the specific Poncol Village, including its regency and province.
Jalan Abdul Wahab

I am unable to provide a summary for “Sawangan Lama Village” as I do not have specific information about this location in my knowledge base. It is likely a small, local village, and detailed historical information about such specific places is often not widely published. Electoral District VI
“Electoral District VI” is not a specific cultural or historical site, but rather an administrative division for voting purposes, typically within a country or region. Its history is tied to the evolution of a nation’s electoral system and redistricting processes, which are periodically updated to reflect population changes. Therefore, it does not have a fixed historical narrative like a traditional landmark.
