A member of the Depok City Regional House of Representatives, H. Bambang Sutopo (HBS), has introduced a new innovation to foster closer ties with the community. During the Third Session Period Recess of 2025, held in RW 06, Sukamaju Village, Cilodong District, HBS officially launched the digital application “Lapor HBS” — an online reporting platform that makes it easier for residents to quickly and transparently report various issues in their neighborhood.

Through this application, which is available on the Play Store, residents can report everyday problems such as broken street lights, damaged drainage, traffic congestion, and local flooding in a simple way — just take a photo of the location, write a description, and submit the report.

“Up until now, residents’ reports came via WhatsApp or social media, but they often got lost and were difficult to follow up on. Therefore, I created the Lapor HBS application so that all complaints can be recorded and I can forward them directly to the relevant agencies,” he explained.

He emphasized that this system not only speeds up the delivery of public input but also cuts through bureaucratic delays. Residents no longer need to wait for a recess period to voice their problems — they can just use their phones and reports will be acted upon immediately.

“As soon as there is a problem, residents can immediately send a report. We ensure that the complaint is promptly forwarded so it can be handled more quickly,” he stated.

In addition to handling infrastructure and environmental cleanliness issues, “Lapor HBS” also provides a space for residents to submit proposals for social, economic, and community empowerment activities. Through this application, HBS hopes to create more efficient two-way communication between the community, the legislature, and the city government.

This digital innovation, he said, is part of an effort to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and build a culture of active citizen participation in maintaining their environment.

“Our goal is simple: to make Depok a responsive and empowered city together with its residents. This application is a tangible form of our commitment to providing direct solutions in the hands of the community,” HBS said.

With the launch of “Lapor HBS”, Bambang Sutopo reaffirmed his step towards creating political work that is adaptive to the digital era — changing how residents interact with their representatives, from merely submitting complaints to a collaborative movement for building the city.

Depok City Regional House of Representatives

The Depok City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD Kota Depok) is the local legislative body for Depok, a city in West Java, Indonesia. Third Session Period Recess of 2025

This does not refer to a physical place or cultural site. “Third Session Period Recess of 2025” is a term for a scheduled break in the legislative calendar, likely for a governing body like the U.S. Congress or a similar parliament. It is a temporary pause in official proceedings, not a location with a history to visit.

RW 06

I am unable to provide a summary for “RW 06” as this identifier does not correspond to a well-known place or cultural site. It could be an internal code, a local designation, or a reference from a specific context not available in general knowledge. To give an accurate summary, more specific details about the location or its significance would be needed.

Sukamaju Village

I am unable to provide a specific summary for “Sukamaju Village” as this is a common place name found in Indonesia, and there are many villages with this name across the country. Without a specific location (e.g., in West Java, South Sumatra, etc.), it is not possible to detail a unique history. Generally, villages named Sukamaju in Indonesia are modern settlements, the name itself meaning “prosperous and advanced,” reflecting hopes for development following Indonesian independence.

Cilodong District

Cilodong is a district located within the city of Depok in West Java, Indonesia. Historically, it was a rural area but has rapidly developed into a densely populated suburban district, largely due to its proximity to Jakarta. This growth is part of the broader expansion of the Jabodetabek metropolitan area.
