Jakarta – A motorcycle and a truck were involved in an accident on Jalan Raya Bojongsari, Depok City, West Java. One person died as a result of the accident.

The Head of Traffic Accident Investigation at the Depok Metro Police Traffic Unit stated that the incident occurred on Sunday evening (May 17). The victim was a passenger on the motorcycle.

“The deceased victim is a 27-year-old male with the initial M,” he said on Monday (May 18, 2026).

He explained that the accident began when a Honda PCX motorcycle was traveling from south to north. The motorcycle was moving in the same direction as the truck.

“Upon arriving near Gang H. Kenan, a collision occurred between the two vehicles,” he stated.

As a result of the collision, the motorcycle driver fell to the left side of the road. Meanwhile, the passenger fell to the right side and was run over by the left tire of the truck.

“After the accident, it was known that the truck continued driving away from the accident scene,” he concluded.
