Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives and property in the fire at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Six people died in the incident. The fire broke out in the hospital’s Trauma ICU ward.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Narendra Modi said the loss of lives in a hospital fire in Jaipur is extremely tragic. He further said, “My condolences to those who lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also expressed deep sorrow over the accident. He wrote in his post, “The death of several patients in the fire at the Trauma Center of Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur is heartbreaking.

I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. May God grant peace to the departed souls and strength to the grieving relatives. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot wrote, “The death of several people in the fire in the ICU of the Trauma Center at SMS Hospital is very saddening. I pray to God that there is minimal loss of life in this accident. May the Lord grant the departed souls a place at His feet and swiftly heal the injured.”

Ashok Gehlot also said that the state government should conduct a high-level investigation into the incident to ensure that such accidents do not recur anywhere in the future.

Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje also expressed sorrow over the hospital fire incident. She wrote in her post, “The fire incident at the Trauma Center of Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur is extremely tragic and painful.

I express my deep condolences to those who lost their lives in this terrible accident. May God grant the departed souls a place at His feet and give the grieving relatives the strength to bear this unbearable grief.”

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat wrote in a post, “The fire incident at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur is extremely tragic. The news of people’s untimely death in this accident is distressing.

May God grant peace to the departed souls and give the relatives the strength to bear this unbearable grief. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out rapidly by the hospital and district administration, and all possible assistance is being provided to the injured. I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured.”
