On June 5, the second round of Group B matches will take place between U19 Malaysia vs U19 Brunei (4:00 PM) and U19 Thailand vs U19 Singapore (8:00 PM).

Both matches are broadcast live on TV360.

The “War Elephants” are currently leading Group B after the first round. U19 Thailand secured a big 9-0 win over Brunei. U19 Malaysia is second in the group after defeating U19 Singapore 3-0.

The crushing victory over U19 Brunei was the strongest statement from the team from the land of gold about their ambition to win the tournament.

However, head coach Jakkraphan Panpee still wants the team to play more coherently in the match against U19 Singapore.

“We scored many goals but still made many mistakes. The team needs more variety in approaching the goal and must take advantage of opportunities more effectively in the following matches,” Coach Panpee shared.

If they play to their full potential, 3 points are almost certain for U19 Thailand.

The 2026 U19 Southeast Asia Championship takes place from June 1 to 14 in Indonesia with 11 teams participating. Group A includes Vietnam, Indonesia, East Timor, and Myanmar. Group B has Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Group C includes Australia, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

The teams play a single round-robin to earn points. The three group winners and the best second-placed team will advance to the semifinals.

On the afternoon of June 4, in the second round of Group A of the 2026 U19 Southeast Asia Championship, U19 Vietnam defeated Myanmar with a strong score of 5-0.
