80th anniversary commemoration of the world people’s victory over fascism
This event commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Allied victory in World War II, which marked the defeat of Nazi Germany and the fascist Axis powers in 1945. It serves as a global remembrance of the immense human cost of the war and a reaffirmation of the commitment to peace and international cooperation to prevent such a conflict from happening again.
Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit is the annual meeting of the Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance originally formed in 2001 by China, Russia, and four Central Asian states. These summits serve as a forum for member states to discuss and coordinate on regional issues, sign multilateral agreements, and formally admit new members.
80th anniversary of the August Revolution
The “80th anniversary of the August Revolution” commemorates the 1945 uprising that led to the abdication of Emperor Bảo Đại and ended French colonial rule in Vietnam. This event, organized by the Việt Minh, was a pivotal moment that paved the way for Ho Chi Minh’s declaration of independence and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
National Day
“National Day” is not a specific place or cultural site, but rather a holiday commemorating a nation’s independence, founding, or unification. Its history is unique to each country, such as France’s Bastille Day (July 14) marking the start of the French Revolution, or India’s Independence Day (August 15) celebrating its freedom from British rule. These days are typically observed with patriotic ceremonies, parades, and public festivities.
