According to initial information, around 6:00 PM on June 7, at a cashew production company of T.P Production Import-Export Limited Liability Company in Phuoc Long ward, a column of smoke suddenly rose high, followed by a fierce fire outbreak.
Local residents reported that it was raining at the time of the fire. However, due to the workshop containing many flammable materials, on-site firefighting efforts were ineffective.
Upon receiving the report, firefighting forces quickly dispatched personnel and vehicles to the scene to extinguish the fire. After about 2 hours of effort, the fire was brought under control.
Late that night, firefighting, rescue, and emergency response forces of Dong Nai City Police continued to spray water to cool down the area, preventing the fire from reigniting.
At the scene, the fire caused no casualties but resulted in the collapse of a large area of the workshop, with all interior items burned.
