On the morning of September 4, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Head of the Front’s Steering Group No. 1 worked with Ba Dinh Ward on preparations for the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the 2025-2030 term.

In his report at the working session, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward stated that the Standing Board of the ward’s Front Committee had reported to the Standing Board of the Ward Party Committee on the plan to organize the Congress; developed guidelines for organizing the Conference of the Front’s Working Committees for the 2025-2028 term. Additionally, opinions were collected from member organizations and Front Working Committees to contribute to the draft documents of the ward’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, contribute to the draft documents of the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and discuss and provide feedback on the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front…

The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the 2025-2030 term is expected to be held on September 8 with the participation of over 200 delegates.

Regarding personnel work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward for the 2025-2030 term is expected to have 70 committee members; the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the number of Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons is 5 comrades.

After members of the working group and Ba Dinh Ward discussed, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed in principle with the Ward Party Committee – Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward on the time and location of the Congress; agreed on the number of delegates to be convened, and the expected number of committee members of the ward’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to be elected at the 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

To ensure the success of the Congress, it was requested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward urgently revise and supplement some content regarding digital transformation; and carry out propaganda work to ensure requirements for political and aesthetic elements.

The Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also suggested that some targets in the political report need to be specifically quantified, ensuring substance and effective implementation in practice…
