The US Transfers Third Coast Guard Ship to Vietnam
The vessel CSB 8022 was transferred within the framework of the US-Vietnam defense cooperation memorandum, following two other patrol boats, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the US.

On June 18, the successful transfer of CSB 8022 to the Vietnam Coast Guard was announced, marking another important milestone in defense and security cooperation between the two countries.
This is the third patrol vessel transferred within the framework of the US-Vietnam defense cooperation memorandum, following the vessels in 2017, and CSB 8021 in 2020.
