As of 4:40 PM today, satellite imagery, lightning positioning data, and radar weather images indicate that convective clouds are developing over Hoa Binh province.
This cloud area continues to develop and move towards the mentioned areas.
It is forecasted that within the next 45 minutes to 3 hours, areas including Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Ha Dong, Thanh Xuan will experience rain, showers, and thunderstorms.
Subsequently, the thunderstorm area may expand to other districts in central Hanoi.
The meteorological agency forecasts that this evening and tonight, in the Northwest, Northeast, the Northern Delta, and the North Central region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with amounts of 15-30mm, and in places more than 80mm.
