The air connectivity program welcomed the scheduling of Lufthansa’s direct flights from Munich to Riyadh, at a rate of 3 flights per week, starting from October 27, 2025; contributing to the development of air routes and increasing seat capacity.
This new air route is an important addition to the current daily flights between Riyadh and Frankfurt, providing tourists with broader travel options from Germany to the Kingdom.
Lufthansa is scheduled to operate this relaunched route using its latest aircraft, the Airbus A350-900 model, with a capacity of 293 seats distributed across business class, premium class, and economy class.
The air connectivity program aims to increase tourism growth in the Kingdom by enhancing air connectivity between the Kingdom and countries around the world, through the development of existing and potential air routes, and connecting the Kingdom to new global destinations.
