The Riyadh Region Municipality, in cooperation with relevant and partner authorities, has uncovered an unauthorized warehouse manufacturing electronic cigarette components, containing quantities of raw materials, manufacturing equipment, and packaging bearing counterfeit global trademarks.
Implementing field inspection campaigns in partnership with relevant entities to protect public health
The seized items included chemical substances, electronic components, and tools used in manufacturing electronic cigarettes and counterfeiting trademarks, in addition to samples sent for laboratory testing to verify their risk level and non-compliance with health requirements.
The Municipality confirmed its continued implementation of field inspection campaigns in partnership with relevant entities to protect public health and ensure establishments’ compliance with regulations and instructions.
It noted that reporting channels through the “My City” application contribute to rapid field intervention, indicating that resident cooperation represents an effective partnership that enhances community protection and ensures service quality, achieving sustainable urban development goals and the Municipality’s vision of enhancing quality of life in the capital.
