The Ministry of Information today launched the tenth edition of the “Media Oasis,” held in partnership with the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission. It includes several designated areas to host over 3,000 international and local visitors, including specialists and enthusiasts from various fields.
This edition, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh concurrently with the Global Symposium for Regulators, spans an area of 4,000 square meters equipped with the latest technologies. It is attended by heads of regulatory bodies, policy developers, and private sector leaders from over 190 countries worldwide.
The “Oasis Exhibition” area showcases the stories of transformative projects under Saudi Vision 2030
The Oasis offers visitors an immersive experience through key areas, most notably the “Oasis Valley” zone, which features live broadcast screens of the accompanying exhibition and the symposium’s opening ceremony, along with a range of specialized media and technical services. The “Oasis Exhibition” area narrates the stories of transformative projects under Saudi Vision 2030 and their connection to digital transformation, displaying prominent innovations and regulatory technologies (RegTech) through integrated interactive pavilions, in addition to four studios dedicated to local and international TV channels.
The tenth edition introduces a new innovation: the Digital Bridge, an interactive visual experience designed to simulate the journey of digital transformation in the Kingdom. Visitors undergo a comprehensive technical experience that embodies civilizational and technological evolution across eras, linking human transformations with digital transformations in an innovative manner that reflects the features of the Kingdom’s digital future.
Several government and private entities participate in the Oasis pavilions, including the Ministry of Sports, the Asir Region Development Authority, Saudi National Bank, and Mobily. The pavilions feature major national projects and initiatives, including NEOM and Saudi Spirit, in addition to several local and international companies in the communications and technology sector.
The Oasis is a comprehensive platform launched by the Ministry of Information to enhance the Kingdom’s media presence at prominent international forums and provide a professional environment that keeps pace with the transformations underway in the Kingdom under Vision 2030.
The Global Symposium for Regulators is a prominent annual international event hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the capital, Riyadh, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), under the theme “Regulation for Sustainable Digital Development.”
