The National Meteorological Center predicted that parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, and Makkah would experience hot to extremely hot weather.
The center noted that active winds causing dust and sandstorms would continue to affect parts of the Madinah and Makkah regions, including the coastal road leading to the Jazan region.
The formation of thunderstorm clouds accompanied by active winds is also possible in parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.
Eastern Province

Jazan region
The Jazan region, located in southwestern Saudi Arabia along the Red Sea coast, is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and agricultural significance. Historically, it has been a vital trade and maritime hub, with influences from ancient civilizations and neighboring Yemen. Today, it is celebrated for its traditional architecture, fertile valleys, and the Farasan Islands, a protected area with unique wildlife and historical sites.
