Uruguayan Darwin Nunez, the new Al-Hilal player, made sure to send a message to Liverpool after leaving the club and not continuing with the team next season.
Nunez posted on his X account: “I leave you with a heart full of gratitude for the love of fans who never let me down and always supported me in good times and bad. Liverpool will always remain a part of me and my identity. I will miss you more than words can express—all the staff and my teammates. I wish you all the best in the future.”
He added: “Thank you, Liverpool. After three years, it’s time to say goodbye. There are so many memories that will stay etched in my mind forever. I leave with a heart full of gratitude for the love of fans who never let me fall and always stood by me in good times and bad.”
He concluded: “Liverpool will always be a part of my story and my life. I will miss you all dearly and wish every staff member and teammate nothing but the best.”
