The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in Rabigh governorate conducted a field inspection tour of several farms. The tour aimed to assess the reality of agricultural practices and provide necessary technical guidance to improve production efficiency.

Irrigation Monitoring and Observation Reports

The field team focused during the tour on monitoring irrigation operations, weeding, and removing harmful plants.

Several observations requiring treatment were noted, including the spread of harmful weeds around some trees and the need for periodic maintenance of irrigation networks in some farms.

Continuous Monitoring and Pest Control

Accordingly, farmers were directed on the necessity of continuous monitoring of their crops and the importance of following integrated preventive and treatment programs against agricultural pests and diseases.

These practices ensure obtaining good production that meets market requirements and achieves rewarding economic returns for farmers.

These field tours will continue periodically as part of the ministry’s efforts to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aimed at developing the agricultural sector, raising its efficiency, and contributing to achieving food security.
