
With support from the Saudi Esports Federation, the Saudi national esports team is preparing to compete in the fourth edition of the Arab Esports League, held in Amman, Jordan, where it will face a selection of national teams from the region. This participation is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance its global presence in esports and solidify its position as a leading international hub for this growing sector.
The championship is organized by the Jordanian Esports Federation and features a total prize pool exceeding 100,000 Saudi Riyals distributed across competitions for the games TEKKEN 8 and eFootball. The competition will see the participation of 17 teams, including: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Morocco, Palestine, Somalia, Algeria, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, Syria, and Libya.
The Kingdom’s participation in the Arab Esports League reflects the importance of this event in developing national talent and enhancing the spirit of regional competition, solidifying Saudi Arabia’s role in leading the sector at both the regional and international levels.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be represented by the players: Tala Al-Marzouq, Abdulaziz Al-Buhairi, and Amjad Al-Qarni in the eFootball competitions, as well as Huda Al-Fuqaihi, Raif Al-Turkistani, and Shaman Al-Zi’qi in the TEKKEN 8 competitions.
This participation is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which aim to develop the gaming and esports sector and build a world-class system that enhances the Kingdom’s position as a key driver of this vital sector.
The Saudi national team’s journey will attract widespread public followership inside and outside the Kingdom, reflecting the spirit of competition and national pride in this prominent regional event.
