Developments have been revealed in the negotiations of Italian club Genoa to sign Al-Nassr’s Brazilian goalkeeper Bento.

It was stated: “Genoa is close to finalizing a deal to sign Bento after resuming negotiations with Al-Nassr. The 26-year-old goalkeeper was also of interest to West Ham, but Genoa has secured the deal.”

Bento’s Statistics with Al-Nassr

Al-Nassr’s Portuguese manager, Jesus, does not wish to continue with Bento in the team, preferring to use the foreign player slot in another position and relying on Nawaf Al-Aqidi in matches.

Bento has participated in (10) matches with Al-Nassr this season, keeping a clean sheet in (5) matches while conceding (7) goals.

Al-Nassr had signed the 26-year-old goalkeeper during the summer transfer window for the 2024/25 season, arriving from his home country club, Athletico Paranaense.

The Brazilian international goalkeeper has played (59) matches for Al-Nassr, keeping a clean sheet in (20) matches while his net was breached (61) times.
