The Medina region municipality has developed a spatial guidance system in the city, as part of its ongoing efforts to serve the guests of the Merciful and those visiting the Prophet’s Mosque during the Hajj season of 1446H. This initiative includes a comprehensive set of actions aimed at facilitating their movements and enhancing their religious and cultural experience. The efforts included installing (105) pedestrian guidance signs to ease the flow of movement, numbering 334 hotel panels to facilitate pilgrims’ access to their accommodations, and placing (150) pedestrian pathway signs to organize smooth movement within the city. Additionally, 89 street name signs were installed to enhance route clarity, alongside (344) traffic signs to ensure safe travel, plus (4) vehicular guidance signs.
