In the year since its opening in September 2024, the Moskino film park has been visited by over 500,000 people, including residents of Russia and international guests.
“In September, the Moskino film park celebrated one year since its opening. According to analysts, from September 2024 to the current September, the film park was visited by residents from 76 regions of Russia, as well as tourists from 110 countries. In total, the film park was visited by more than 500,000 people,” the statement said.
According to the data presented, about 58% were visitors from Moscow and the Moscow region, 30% were guests from other Russian regions, and 12% were visitors from abroad.
“The largest number of tourists came from the Kaluga region, Krasnodar Krai, St. Petersburg, Tula, and Ryazan regions. The most frequent foreign visitors to the film park were residents of Belarus and China (14% each of the foreign guests), as well as Uzbekistan (9%), Armenia (8%), and Kyrgyzstan (5%).”
For international guests, the film park conducted tours, conferences, and forums. The most active age group was visitors aged 35 to 44 (23%). They are followed by two age groups, each with 15%—children under 17 and people aged 45 to 54. Also, 6% were visitors over 64 years old.
“The wide geographic representation of the Moskino film park’s visitors indicates high interest in the developing film production site as a new attraction and recreational destination,” the film park noted.
