A person was fatally injured by electric train No. 6435 (Volokolamsk–Serpukhov) while crossing the tracks in an unauthorized area at the “Bitza” station, according to the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office.

“At 1:28 AM on August 5, 2025, a report was received from the duty officer of the linear police department at the ‘Podolsk’ railway station regarding a fatal injury that occurred around 1:15 AM at the 26th kilometer of the first track at ‘Bitza’ station involving electric train No. 6435 (Volokolamsk–Serpukhov),” the statement said.

They added that, according to preliminary information, the cause of the fatal injury was crossing the tracks in an unauthorized location.

Earlier reports indicated that a sports commentator had died at the age of 48. It was noted that his death resulted from an accident on a railway platform.
