In the village of Lermontovo, water supply restoration work has been completed, according to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai.
Construction crews laid a new water pipeline branch using horizontal drilling, running a pipe under the bed of the Shapsukho River, which separates the settlement from the water intake.
Water supply was restored at 03:15 AM on August 8. The length of the repaired section was 200 meters. The governor visited the municipality and ordered the prompt resolution of the water supply issue. The work was completed on schedule.
Earlier, the water supply system in Lermontovo was disrupted due to heavy rains that washed away a pipe running along a bridge. For several days, local residents were provided with water in necessary quantities.
