Volunteers from Krasnodar are actively involved in the restoration of the Tuapse district, which was affected by severe weather.

Today, they are working at School No. 30 in the Novomikhailovsky settlement, which was recently visited by the governor of Kuban. The educational institution suffered from flooding.

Together with activists from various parts of the region, the Krasnodar volunteers are cleaning the territory and the building of silt and debris. The goal is to prepare the school for September 1 so that children can return to classes along with the rest of the country.

“Staying on the sidelines when neighbors need help is not in Krasnodar’s nature. Our team consists of experienced volunteers, youth affairs department employees, and subordinate institutions. In such difficult situations, we must be even more united and cohesive,” the mayor noted.
