In Novorossiysk, a man killed his neighbor during an argument

A court in Novorossiysk has found a 47-year-old man guilty of murdering his neighbor, according to the investigative committee.

The incident occurred on the night of March 16, when the convicted man was visiting his neighbor on Proletarskaya Street. While drinking alcohol together, a domestic dispute broke out between the two men, leading the accused to repeatedly strike the victim in the head, neck, and torso with his hands and feet. He then left the scene, and the victim died shortly afterward.

The following day, the victim’s mother found him lifeless and called the police. The suspect was detained by investigators.

During the investigation, the perpetrator was placed in custody at the request of the investigators. The court sentenced him to 9 years and 6 months in a strict-regime correctional colony. The verdict has not yet taken legal effect.
